The Bird in the Cage – the Lie of Vision

The Bird in the Cage – the Lie of Vision
A bird in a cage doesn't need a better vision. It doesn't need a more beautiful sky in its head, a more precise idea of flying or a new direction – because as long as it sits in the cage, every vision is nothing more than busywork for the imprisoned.
The cage isn't the problem because it is visible, but because it feels safe. It protects, limits and orders – and precisely because of that, it prevents life. Meanwhile, the person inside it learns to settle in, to explain, to understand and to convince themselves that they are actually already moving.
Visions born inside the cage feel comforting. They sketch pictures of the future without ever truly touching the present. They offer hope without inviting the body to release its holding patterns, to leave its tension, to actually feel its fear and let it go.
As long as the body remains held, as long as the breath is controlled, as long as safety is created through tension, every vision is a lie – not morally, but functionally – because it promises movement while preserving standstill.
The bird in the cage can read a hundred books about the sky and forge a thousand plans, yet its wings don't wither because they are too weak, but because they are never used. And in exactly this way, human potential withers – not from lack, but from disuse.
No one finds their potential in thinking. No one discovers their truth in concepts. No one becomes free because they have understood. Freedom begins where the body is no longer held and a person is willing to lose the familiar before knowing what they will gain.
The cage is not opened through courage, not through decision, not through discipline, but when the body stops believing that tension protects it, that control saves it and that standstill is safety.
And this is exactly where most paths fail: they first want to know where they are flying. They first want certainty, meaning, direction, significance – but life works the other way around.
Only the step into the void creates direction.
Only the fall creates lift.
Only freedom gives birth to vision.
The bird outside the cage has only movement, wind, uncertainty and a body that suddenly learns what it is capable of – while the bird in the cage talks about its potential without ever touching it.
Potential is not an inner treasure hidden in the cage. It is a capacity that exists only outside of confinement, and whoever stays in the cage to protect their potential loses it.
As long as a person sits in the cage, every orientation remains wrong, every decision half-hearted, every longing painful – because the body knows it is lying, even when the mind sounds convinced.
The cage doesn't need to be understood.
It needs to be left.
Not elegantly.
Not safely.
Not with a vision.
The bird doesn't fly because it knows where it is going, but because it can no longer bear not to fly – and right there, beyond meaning, concept and guarantee, truth begins, life begins, potential begins.
Perhaps you are reading these lines and feel that something has touched you.
Not as a new idea, but as a quiet truth in your body.
A knowing that your potential isn't waiting in thinking, but in walking.
Not in the next concept, but beyond the cage.
Three years ago we developed a live online course that guides this process. Power of Creation is not a program for creating a better vision.
It is a space in which you learn to leave the cage – step by step, embodied, honest.
A process that doesn't pull you further upward, but brings you deeper down: into your body, into your truth, into a movement that arises not from fear but from resonance with life.
If you feel it is time to no longer just understand, but to live,
if you are ready to no longer let yourself be limited by safety,
but to meet life itself –
then this course could be exactly the space where your own flight begins.
Not because we tell you where to go.
But because you become free to feel it for yourself.
