Releasing the "Grip" of the Past

Feeling Is the Beginning of Change
If we are honest with ourselves, we all know those moments in life when we ask ourselves:
"How did I end up here again?"
Why do we so often attract partners who aren't right for us? Why do we stay in jobs that drain us?
The answer lies hidden deep within our system – shaped by an invisible narrowness from the past.
For more than 20 years now we have been running our own practice for body therapy. Throughout this long time, and long before it, we have been able to grow deeply, and today we work equally as spiritual teachers.
For us, this combination is not a contradiction but a necessity. Deep closeness to the body, healing emotional blockages and working with the mind are essential.
At the same time, we bring another, greater dimension into our work – you could say we weave Satsang into body therapy and emotional liberation. It is precisely at this intersection that we see again and again that real miracles can happen.
What we have understood in two decades of therapeutic work is fundamental: not only our mind, but also our physical and emotional body is deeply shaped by the events of our lives.
Trauma and painful experiences narrow our view. They make our system smaller.
The tricky thing is that over the years this narrowness becomes completely normal to us. We no longer even notice that we are perceiving the world through tiny, distorted glasses.
These unconscious imprints steer our daily actions. They keep us trapped in an endless loop of repetition, until at some point the pain in our personal life becomes so great that we set out searching of our own accord. We feel: something has to change.
"Merely remembering or simply repeating the old pain changes nothing. We have to return to the place of narrowness – but with a completely new perception."
Many people know exactly what went wrong in their childhood or past. They go back in their thoughts, analyze and reproduce the old pain. But recognizing alone is not enough.
Even if we only stay with feeling the old trauma, that is too one-sided; it doesn't change the cell structure.
On the other hand, there are people who have no conscious images or memories of their past at all, which makes working through it mentally almost impossible.
The truth is: you need neither years of agonizing mental processing nor endless, painful digging around in the body. What you need is the courage and openness to meet the old situation differently today.
This is where the power of spirituality and awakening comes in. When we experience the traumatic memory in our body or our cells with a new dimension of clarity and safety, something magical happens: you no longer believe the old, narrow way of seeing and acting that came from the trauma.
In exactly this moment, a new experience manifests within you. A biochemical and neural change takes place at the cellular level and in the brain. We call this a gradual liberation. It feels as if the tight grip of the past, which would otherwise have made you repeat everything, finally lets go.
Only when this grip loosens does the space and freedom arise to shape things in a completely new way.
Suddenly you see paths that were invisible before. You make different decisions, attract partners who are right for you, find professional visions that match your truth, and develop the courage to try yourself out.
You begin to live your full potential instead of reactivating an old story.
Would you like to experience this shift yourself?
This path of emotional healing is the heart of our work – whether in our Emotional Therapeutic Coach Training | starting October 2026, or in our retreats. Since this deep transformation can hardly be explained in theory but above all has to be experienced, we warmly invite you to take the next step.
