It Has Awakened!

_A personal account of the end of narrowness and the beginning of spaciousness_
Awakening. A big word. A term often associated with spiritual paths, decades of practice or extraordinary experiences. And yet – for us, awakening is something very natural. Something almost inconspicuous and at the same time revolutionary. A change that doesn't create a new world, but lets the existing world appear in a completely new light.
A different way of seeing
When awakening happened in me, it felt as if something in my perception had shifted – from front to back, or from inside to outside. It was as if a veil had been lifted.
Before, I had the feeling that I was "up front" – very close to my thoughts, to impressions, to my small, personal story. I was identified with what I thought, felt and saw – and it was narrow.
And then something happened. I can't explain it exactly, but it was like falling back. Perception shifted. It was as if it was no longer "I" looking at the world, but rather that what I truly am encompasses everything. Body, thoughts, sense impressions – suddenly none of it was outside of me anymore. It was within me.
It became clear:
I am that which looks. I am that which perceives.
The moment of clarity
This clarity – like cleaning a pair of fogged-up glasses – was crystal clear. And at the same time not spectacular in the usual sense. It wasn't a loud breakthrough, but a quiet, deep recognition.
Many people search for this state spiritually, religiously or philosophically. But really it is something entirely natural: a change in perception.
No longer looking out from the narrowness of the I-thought, but from that which has always been here.
The narrowness that sends us searching
Most people – including me in the past – live in this narrowness: identified with the mind, the "I", the idea of themselves. And at some point this narrowness becomes unbearable.
You ask yourself:
Isn't there more than this? More than thinking, functioning, judging?
This longing – for spaciousness, for oneness, for freedom – sets many people on a path. A spiritual, a psychological, an inquiring path.
What remains when the veil falls
When the veil lifts, a quiet, vast presence remains.
A recognition that doesn't happen in the head, but in your whole being.
A knowing that has nothing to do with knowledge, but with certainty.
This is me. This is that.
And with this recognition comes peace.
A deep stillness. A return to naturalness.
Awakening as a return to naturalness
Today – years later – I would say:
Awakening is not a spectacular event.
It is our nature.
What we are was never gone.
It was only overlaid – by conditioning, by thought structures, by genetic and social veils.
When these veils fall away, it isn't a "new me" that appears.
It is what we have always been.
Infinite.
Vast.
Still.
Alive.
Nonduality – everything is within you
This recognition leads to what many call nonduality.
No longer: "I am here, the world is out there."
But: Everything is within me.
Not as a concept – but as a direct, living experience.
The body, the thoughts, the outside, the inside – everything happens in this one field that you are.
And in this field there is no lack, no separation, no more searching.
We are happy to accompany you and to help you change your perception in a way that fits you individually.
